About

My interest in psychology began in high school, where my first research was examining the impact of social media on adolescents’ body image. In 2019, I started my undergraduate degree in psychology at the Sigmund Freud University in Vienna, where I researched the topic of intercultural experiences and combating stereotypes as part of my thesis.
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology at ELTE. I worked in a research group where we examined the connections between parent-child relationships and digital device use, which became the basis for my own master’s thesis.
I am currently pursuing my doctoral studies at Semmelweis University, where I am investigating the effects of trauma on trust, attachment, belief in justice, and social functioning.
I gained my professional experience in clinical and child protection, working as a volunteer at the Főnix Ház Psychiatric Center and in a children's home, where I later became a psychologist and still work there. These experiences have deeply shaped the way I see the importance of relationships and the environment in children's development.
Over time, the relationship dynamics of the family became my main area of interest, which is why I started training as a couple and family therapist at the Hungarian Family Therapy Association.

Self-knowledge

As a professional, I believe it is important to take care of our own mental health. I myself participated in a 150-hour group self-knowledge process as part of the person-centered training and am currently developing further in individual therapy. I believe that I can only be a credible helper for others if I myself am constantly working on my self-knowledge and inner development.

My goal

I believe that every person is capable of change and development. As a facilitator, my goal is to accompany this journey, to reveal and strengthen the inner resources that allow them to live a more balanced, fulfilling life despite difficulties.

As Aristotle said: „Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." To me, this means that self-knowledge is not just about understanding ourselves, but also the key to finding our place in the world. When we learn to connect with our own feelings, needs, and resources, we can truly connect with others.

Therefore, as a helper, I want to create a space where those who come to me can feel safe, where they can experience acceptance and genuine attention, and where they have the opportunity to experience that change and fulfillment are possible.

Parenthood is a huge challenge for a person, as you have to be present, support, regulate and set an example at the same time, while also managing your own feelings, limitations and stress. I would like to help parents better understand their child's functioning, needs and feelings, thereby supporting mutual understanding, acceptance and strengthening their relationship. I believe it is important for parents to receive practical tools and strategies that help them in everyday situations. During our work together, I strive to ensure that the child and parent can develop together, their relationship can strengthen and they are able to change towards a more harmonious, balanced family life.

„When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"

I help you see yourself and your life's challenges from a new perspective - with support, understanding, and working together.
